Local Branches |
HACB is proud of its local branch structure, developed over its 75-year history, with a network of 22 separate, distinct branches offering a unique local perspective to match the needs of local people and communities.
Each one is managed by a local voluntary committee, which offers a range of services, and activities to meet the needs of local visually impaired people.
Each branch also offers an invaluable transport service for visually impaired people. through its team of volunteer drivers.
Many visually impaired people are elderly and without transport, and being able to attend clubs, outings or events is often the difference between social inclusion or being completely isolated.
Branches cover the whole of the county and offer a presence and point of contact for visually impaired people local to their homes.
There's a branch near you and contact details can be found by clicking across the map below.
